Birthdays– Birthdays are easy, all you have to do is send a bright bouquet. There are certain flowers that correspond to each month and are considered birthday flowers. Sending a bouquet of birthday flowers is a very thoughtful way to commemorate a birthday. Below is a list of each month and it’s corresponding flower.

Funerals– Flowers have been used in funeral and burial services since ancient times. When a loved one passes or a friend loses a loved one, it is always appropriate to send flowers. There are several different types of arrangements for these circumstances, casket sprays, standing sprays, wreaths, bouquets, sympathy plants/baskets. Usually, people tend to send white or light pink colored flowers. Lavender, yellow, and peach colored flowers are also appropriate. Stick to the tradition flowers such as lilies and roses, unless you know the deceased’s favorite flowers, in which case, sending those would be both appropriate and thoughtful.

Get Well– When a friend of loved one has been taken ill or gotten into an accident, flowers can go a long way to cheer them up. The best bouquets and arrangements to send are brightly colored and cheerful. Daisies, gerbera daisies, tulips, and hydrangea are all very choices when ordering or creating a get well arrangement.

Congratulations– Congratulations bouquets fall into a few categories. Birth, Job Promotion, New Home, Engagement, and Graduation, are a few occasions to send a congratulatory bouquet. These types of bouquets can be bright or elegant depending on the occasion. For the birth of a boy, iris, violets, or purple dendrobium orchids are all very nice flowers to send. For the birth of a girl, pink roses, pink lilies, or pink tulips are good flower choices. For a job promotion, new home, or graduation white lilies, orchids, tulips, or roses are all appropriate choices. For an engagement roses are usually sent due to this flowers romantic reputation.

If there are any other occasions you would like to send flowers for and we haven’t covered here, please let us know and we will add it to the list.

  1. I like to share my flower plants and seeds with friends and relatives who celebrate various occasions. It’s nice to share a bit of oneself and spread a little love around! Seeds can be packaged in a pretty, self-designed envelope or little jars with a simple handwritten label. Plants can be potted and accompanied by gardening gloves, a little packet of fertilizer, and handwritten instructions placed in a basket or bag, with a lovely message attached.
