Bright Flowers

If you really look around, you will notice that so many things are flower inspired. Design, food, even crayon colors! I noticed this last night when I was trying to choose a color to paint my walls and was using crayons for inspiration. Who knew my inspiration was inspired by flowers?! Here is a list of my favorite colors inspired by flowers.

Blue bell– a Crayola color since 1998, it looks strikingly similar to the flower.

Blue violet– a Crayola color since 1949 this color favors early violet buds more than the blooms.

Carnation pink– a Crayola color since 1949, it looks exactly as you would expect it to. Sweet and pink, just like a real carnation.

Cornflower– a Crayola color since 1949, this light shade of blue perfectly matches the flower.

Dandelion– a Crayola color since 1990, it reminds me a making wishes, just like a dandelion does.

Razzle Dazzle Rose– a Crayola color since 1990, this bright shade of pink doesn’t exactly match a roses coloring but it’s still beautiful.

Vivid Violet– a Crayola color since 1998, this shade more closely resembles the actual shading of a violet.

What are some of your favorite flower inspired colors??
